Winner of Food & Wine Magazines Best Restaurant in Leinster 2007, and Country House of the year 2007, Rathsallagh House Hotel and Golf Club is located in Dunlavin Co Wicklow and is central to some of the most beautiful countryside in eastern Ireland yet Dublin is less than one hour's drive away. Converted from Queen Anne stables in 1798 Rathsallagh is a large 4-star Grade A country house set in 530 acres of peaceful parkland with its own walled garden - all surrounded by the magnificent Rathsallagh Golf Club. Recently rated as one of Ireland’s Top 30 Golf Courses - Ireland’s Finest Golf courses, John Redmond.
In addition to the golf course, Rathsallagh also has one of the most famous and multiple award winning Country House Restaurants in Ireland. Rathsallagh also has conference and meeting rooms, Jacuzzi room, billiard room, tennis court, and bicycles for touring the local area. Clay Pigeon shooting, Falconry, Fishing, Archery can be organised by prior arrangement. Rathsallagh is also home to the Brendan McDaid Golf Academy and is less than 1 hour drive from some of Ireland’s other well known Golf Clubs such as The K Club in Co Kildare, home of the 2006 Ryder Cup, Powerscourt, Druids Glen, The Heritage, PGA National, Carton and Mount Juliet.
Rathsallagh is only 20 minutes from the Curragh Racecourse, home of the Budweiser Irish Derby and Punchestown Racecourse, home of Ireland’s biggest National Hunt Festival, and for the shopper Ireland’s latest and biggest designer discount shopping outlet, The Kildare Retail Village. And yet the centre of Dublin and Dublin International Airport is only 1 hours drive away.

The menu at Rathsallagh is country house cooking at its best - game in season and fresh fish are specialties. The dining room has an impressive Wine List featuring all the great appellations. Breakfast in Rathsallagh is an experience in itself and has won the National Breakfast Awards four times.
